Frankenstein Cliff

Arethusa Falls Loop. This gorgeous 5.2 mile hike showcases a little bit of everything the White Mountain National Forest has to offer! We start by making the climb up to Frankenstein Cliff, providing above-treeline views across Crawford Notch, and then make our way through gentle pine-needle covered terrain to Arethusa Falls, the tallest waterfall in New Hampshire!

On our way back down, we stop and visit Bemis Falls and Coliseum Falls as well, two smaller but just as pretty water features on the hike!
