Guineafowl Adventure Company is kicking off its Beginners Series and we want YOU to join us! From time-to-time, we’ll be hosting a different peak with beginners in mind. We’ll take it a little slower, have more breaks, and we offer more flexibility than our more rigorous hikes. Don’t be fooled, though–if you’re experienced, you will still have fun, learn things, and enjoy great company!
Join us for a beautiful hike up to the fire tower at the summit of Mt. Cardigan. We will take the South Ridge / West Ridge loop that offers some fun ledges on the way up and a long alpine river with waterfalls to follow on the way back down. While the peak of Mt Cardigan is only 3,155′ tall, it has extensive areas of bare granite ledges and alpine vegetation, with almost 2,000′ of prominence, giving hikers gorgeous 360-degree views from the top!
As with all Guineafowl trips,
we provide round trip transportation, backpacks, water, snacks, safety equipment (including traction for the winter months) and friendly, experienced guides!
