Climbing a mountain requires time, resources, and knowledge. We provide solutions to the obstacles that hold most back.
Our who, our what, and most importantly—our why.

From Boston to the Peaks
Thousands of miles in the White Mountains taught us that the wilderness is the great equalizer. We founded Guineafowl because the barriers of planning, transportation, and gear should never keep you from the mountains.
Our all-inclusive guided trips bridge the gap between Boston and the peaks so you can focus entirely on the journey. We promise to lead responsibly and ethically to ensure that no adventurer is ever left behind.
Dave Fatula, Founder
A lifelong New Englander and former finance professional, Dave traded twenty years behind a desk for a life on the trail. After a post-pandemic realization that his true expertise lived in the mountains, he founded Guineafowl to turn his passion for the outdoors into a mission for others.
He is dedicated to creating safe, ethical, and social spaces where explorers can push their limits and find genuine connection. When he is not leading a trek, you will find him with his family or gathered around a campfire.

Climbing a mountain requires time, resources, and knowledge. We provide solutions to the obstacles that hold most back.
We guarantee the expertise of our guides, who offer all the security and guidance necessary to allow adventurers to “let go” and truly enjoy their time in nature.
Relationships with both the earth and fellow humans are important. We promise to honor these with collaborative values, policies, and partnerships.
We pledge to create space for the natural human inclination to investigate, study, and experience the new.
Together, we push our limits to become more deeply acquainted with the expansiveness of the natural world; and discover our place and purpose within it.
We are dedicated to ensuring not only that the physical goods we supply to hikers are sourced ethically and sustainably, but that our guides are held to the highest standards of environmental stewardship and responsibility.
We also realize the need for ongoing education in addition to accountability, so we’ve committed to abide by Leave No Trace principles, on our tours and in our personal lives, both in the backcountry and front country. With our company’s growth and as our cultural/scientific understanding about conservation evolves, we promise to continuously adapt, remain open to learning, and take measurable action for the greater good of planet earth.
Last, we promise to hold space for inclusivity and equity in the outdoors. Nature doesn’t discriminate, and neither do we. We welcome people of all walks of life, birthplaces, colors, ages, and lifestyles to explore the mountains with us or without us (however they choose).

Guineafowl are loyal birds that move as a unified pack (a ‘Confusion’) to protect their flock. We embody this spirit because we are stronger and safer when we hike together. With the group behind you, there are no boundaries to where we can go.
