Seek the Peak Weekend

Join Guineafowl for the Mount Washington Observatory's Seek the Peak weekend! This is a special event because it's the largest fundraiser for the MWOBS, which is a critical nonprofit weather station atop Mount Washington, providing above treeline weather reports and critical weather science studies that benefit the Northeast and the entire country! Our trip will begin Friday afternoon, leaving Boston and driving up to Joe Dodge Lodge where we'll enjoy a family style meal and get a good nights' sleep before waking to begin our hike up Mount Washington! Saturday morning we will summit the Rock Pile via the Tuckerman Ravine Trail winding over rocks and waterfalls straight up the famous ravine. We'll descend down Lion Head, and celebrate our hike with the Seek the Peak after party including live bands, speakers, food and beverage! One more nights rest at Joe Dodge, and Sunday we will hike Carter Dome and the surrounding mountains for a second day of incredible above treeline views! Round trip transportation, any hiking gear you need, meals, accomodations, the Seek the Peak after party and a donation to the MWOBS from Guineafowl Adventure Company are all included with this trip!
